Construction Project Manager Role

This is a senior position that requires the successful candidate to have strong leadership and management skills, experience in construction project management, and a degree or diploma in engineering.

About the Position:

  • The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for all day-to-day activities at sites, including operational, administrative, and construction tasks.
  • The role reports directly to the Senior Project/Project Manager and is accountable for ensuring projects are completed on schedule.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate construction activities with various disciplines.
  • Monitor progress, identify problem areas, and develop action plans to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Conduct weekly progress meetings with project teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Manage sub-contractor activities to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Implement safety and quality awareness initiatives across the site.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering.
  • At least 8 years of experience as a Construction Manager in a Marine Shipyard or Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
