About the Job">

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our enterprise IT applications, servers, and cloud environments, as well as operational technology (OT) systems.

This role involves supporting and managing security tools, providing solutions, identifying, and securing both enterprise IT applications, servers, and cloud environments, and OT systems. You will also assess, deploy, and monitor cybersecurity tools across the manufacturing network.

  • Supporting and managing security tools to identify and secure enterprise IT applications, servers, and cloud environments, as well as OT systems.
  • Assessing, deploying, and monitoring cybersecurity tools across the manufacturing network.
  • Securing IT/OT infrastructure by configuring and managing firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
  • Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on plant floor systems.
  • Customizing workflows, forms, and reports to meet business user needs.
  • Performing security assessments on web applications, APIs, and microservices through static and dynamic analysis, vulnerability scanning.
  • Identifying and remediating application vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, and insecure deserialization.
  • Working closely with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) through secure coding practices and threat modeling.
  • Leading and conducting security code reviews, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Advising developers on secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, and security requirements for application design.
  • Safeguarding configuration of servers, databases, and web services to ensure they are hardened according to industry best practices (CIS benchmarks, NIST).
  • Collaborating with DevOps teams to implement security controls such as Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and container security (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Integrating security tools (e.g., SAST/DAST, vulnerability scanners) into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous security checks during development and deployment.
  • Utilizing strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.) to automate security tasks such as patching, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Responding to application and server security incidents, including incident detection, triage, and mitigation.
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools and log analysis for identifying potential security incidents.
  • Coordinating with engineering to apply security patches and firmware updates safely.
