**BIM Modeller Job Description**
- Working Hours and Environment: This role is based in a City Hall setting with working hours of 8:30am -5:30pm from Monday to Friday. There may be occasional half-day work on Saturdays.
The BIM Modeller will be responsible for creating detailed architectural and structural shop-drawings using Revit software, ensuring that designs and details meet project construction requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare architectural and structural shop-drawings for various projects, incorporating client feedback and requests into the drawings.
- Collaborate with the project team to provide accurate information for construction purposes.
- Extract data from 3D Revit models to develop shop-drawings, resolving any discrepancies found during the process.
- Develop detailed drawings and specifications according to client needs and requests.
- Produce as-built drawings for project completion and submission to clients.
- Assist in developing tender bids and drawings by creating floor plans and sectional drawings.
- Attend technical meetings when required to ensure timely completion of all drawing tasks.
- Proficiency in Revit software and experience with its use in architectural and structural design.
- Excellent understanding of building information modelling (BIM) principles and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective resolution of complex design issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, particularly in working with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
