The role of a BIM Modeller is pivotal in creating, managing and coordinating models across various disciplines such as architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) using Building Information Modeling software.

This position involves building high-quality BIM models that accurately reflect design intent, enhancing collaboration among project teams, and contributing to design clash detection and construction planning optimisation.

  • Develop detailed BIM models (architectural, structural, MEP, etc.) based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Review, modify and update existing BIM models.
  • Perform Clash Detection between BIM models from different disciplines and collaborate with the design team to propose solutions.
  • Generate Quantity Take-offs and drawings (2D/3D) from BIM models.
  • Maintain model quality and integrity adhering to BIM standards and protocols.
  • Effectively coordinate with project team members (architects, engineers, construction managers, etc.).
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest BIM software features and workflows, and assist with training as needed.
Key Qualifications:
  • Degree or higher in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience as a BIM Modeller or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in major BIM software such as Autodesk Revit and Navisworks is essential.
  • Strong preference for candidates with BIM modelling experience in healthcare facilities or laboratory (lab) construction projects.
  • Experience with construction projects in Singapore is an advantage.
  • Ability to understand and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
  • Excellent spatial reasoning and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Candidates with a proven track record of successfully completing projects, from BIM model creation to project completion, are highly welcome.
