Job Title: Development Director

We are seeking an accomplished Development Director to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex industrial real estate projects.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with proven leadership, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, sustainably, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale industrial development projects from concept through to handover.
  • Direct and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Review and approve designs, technical specifications, and construction methodologies.
  • Oversee compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures to safeguard timelines and budgets.
  • Manage relationships with authorities, contractors, suppliers, and strategic partners.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and financial discipline.
  • Monitor procurement processes and negotiate favorable contract terms.
  • Report regularly to senior leadership on progress, risks, and solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience managing large-scale industrial or logistics development projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, construction best practices, and compliance regulations.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera, MS Project, AutoCAD.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
