Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Food Production and Development Manager to lead our production team in developing new products, recipes, and processes.

  • Production Scheduling: Develop and implement efficient production schedules and processes to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Team Management: Hire, train, and manage production staff, including setting and monitoring performance goals and objectives.
  • New Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new product ideas and recipes.
  • Inventory Management: Create and maintain accurate inventory records, manage raw material inventory levels, and minimize wastage and losses.
  • Food Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and address production issues and areas for improvement, leveraging data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Cost Optimization: Monitor production costs, identify areas for cost reduction, and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee maintenance of equipment and machinery in production facilities.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in food production management or a related field.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, quality control procedures, and relevant industry regulations.
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
  • Skillset: Excellent organizational, time-management, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with ability to analyze data, interpret reports, and utilize relevant software systems effectively.
