Administrative Support Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Support Specialist. This role involves providing exceptional support to our administration team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and delivering outstanding results.

  • This includes managing front office operations and maintaining a welcoming presence for visitors, students, and parents.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to manage incoming calls and correspondence efficiently.
Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Processing daily administrative tasks, including mail handling, document management, data entry, and general office organization.
  • Maintaining accurate digital records using Microsoft Excel and relevant systems.
Event Support:

The successful candidate will also provide essential administrative and logistical assistance for school activities, with particular focus on examination periods and special events.

General Duties:

The candidate will support school leadership by undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned by Administration Managers, Vice-Principals, and Principal.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, the candidate will need:

  • A pleasant personality, willingness, and inquisitiveness to learn.
  • Be a team player, organized, and able to multi-task and prioritize daily tasks using today's office technologies and computer applications.
  • Preferably have GCE O-Levels or relevant administrative working experience.

Please note that personnel must be able to perform daily activities such as climbing stairs due to the location of the general office at Level 2 of the premises.

This is a full-time contract position, from January 2026 to December 2026.

The working hours are Mondays to Fridays, 9 hours inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break. Two shifts are available: 7am to 4pm or 9am to 6pm for reception duties. Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.

The job is located in Tampines.
