Energy from Waste & Carbon Capture Team in APAC
You will be integrated into our Energy from Waste team, engaging in both large-scale complex energy initiatives and smaller projects, such as feasibility studies and due diligence for waste-to-energy, sorting facilities, or biogas ventures. Our clientele comprises investors, lenders, developers, and both private and public organizations.
The Energy from Waste & Carbon Capture team operates in a truly international and dynamic setting, undertaking projects globally in energy from waste (including combustion and other thermal treatment technologies), biogas generation, waste sorting, resource recovery, and carbon capture. Our team is recognized as a leading international consultancy in this domain, providing services from offices in various locations, where project and competence teams collaborate effectively.
Expect some travel as many of our projects extend beyond Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all stages of energy from waste projects, including feasibility assessments, due diligence, project development, and collaboration with financial and legal advisors, procurement, and project realization. Technical aspects will be included.
- Gradually assume a more active role in the technical management of projects.
- Engage in technical tasks such as mass and energy balances, process diagrams, layout planning, and evaluating various technical options, along with commercial aspects like cost-benefit analysis and procurement strategies.
- Contribute to the development of new projects by preparing sales presentations, analyzing client needs, and conducting market analysis.
- Receive training in waste-to-energy technology, Ramboll tools, and project management methodologies, while actively seeking knowledge from colleagues and utilizing the expertise available within Ramboll's WtE offices.
