Energy from Waste & Carbon Capture Team in APAC
You will be integrated into our Energy from Waste team, which handles both large-scale energy projects and smaller initiatives, such as feasibility studies and due diligence for waste-to-energy and biogas projects. Our clientele encompasses investors, lenders, developers, and both private and public entities.
The Energy from Waste & Carbon Capture team operates in a truly international and dynamic setting, undertaking projects globally that include energy from waste (combustion and other thermal treatment technologies), biogas generation, waste sorting, resource recovery, and carbon capture. Our team is recognized as a leading international consultancy in this sector, providing services from offices in Copenhagen, Harwell (UK), Zurich, Singapore, and Perth (Australia), where project and expertise teams collaborate.
As many of our projects are based outside of Singapore, some travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of energy from waste projects, including feasibility studies, due diligence, project development, and collaboration with financial and legal advisors, as well as procurement and contracting processes. The role will involve technical components.
- Over time, you will take on a more active role in the technical management aspects of the projects.
- The technical responsibilities will include mass and energy balances, process diagrams, layout design, evaluation of various technical options, and commercial project aspects such as cost-benefit analysis and procurement strategies.
- Engage in the development of new projects, preparing sales presentations, analyzing client needs, and conducting market analyses.
- You will receive training in waste-to-energy technology, Ramboll tools, and project management methodologies. It is expected that you will seek knowledge from colleagues and understand the competencies of experts in Ramboll's waste-to-energy offices, utilizing this information in your work. You will develop expertise in the technical aspects of waste-to-energy technologies with support from your colleagues, primarily through on-the-job learning.
