Job Title:

Culinary Operations Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Culinary Operations Lead. As a key member of the culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, ordering food ingredients from suppliers, and planning weekly schedules.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory lists and manage stock levels effectively
  • Order food ingredients from reliable suppliers
  • Plan and coordinate weekly schedules for kitchen staff
  • Train and coach junior staff members to improve their skills and performance
  • Assist in evaluating staff performance and providing feedback
  • Prepare maintenance reports and identify areas for improvement
  • Recruit and train part-time candidates to meet business needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide suggestions and feedback
  • Investigate customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
  • Streamline kitchen processes to ensure smooth operations
  • Lead daily meetings to discuss important issues and goals
  • Monitor and control food and labor costs
  • Perform ad hoc duties assigned by superiors

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in hospitality or equivalent
  • Certificate in Food & Beverage service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent planning and people management skills to lead a dynamic team
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays
