**Job Title:** Architectural Coordinator

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Architectural Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating architectural work, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • This is a full-time position, working 6 days per week (5.5 days - Can leave after 2pm on Sat, with no urgent tasks or deadlines to meet)
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
  2. Manage and coordinate the rectification of any defects or issues identified during the construction process.
  3. Assist in the development of project schedules, timelines, and budgets, ensuring architectural activities are integrated into the overall project plan.
  4. Manage architectural work scheduling, supervise and inspect all architectural work performed by sub-contractors according to specifications/drawings.
  5. Review project specifications, tender clarifications, and construction drawings to assist in contract and procurement management.
  6. Support the Project Manager in all coordination work of civil, structural, architectural.
  7. Study drawings and coordinate architectural works with the consultants and subcontractors to resolve any technical/site issues.
  8. Inform Project Director/Project Manager on any technical/site problems pertaining to architectural works.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Architecture/Building or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of architecture coordination experience in building/construction trade or equivalent
