  • The Resident Site Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all site activities adhere to regulations and client expectations. This involves comprehending project specifications, construction drawings, and monitoring site works to guarantee method statements and work procedures are followed.
  • This position demands strong supervisory skills, as the Resident Site Coordinator is responsible for conducting quality inspections and quality control of materials used for the project.
  • The successful candidate will also be accountable for documenting site inspection records, safety records, and approved/as-built drawings, as well as maintaining and updating site records on progress of work, housekeeping, and preparing reports.
  • In addition, the Resident Site Coordinator will verify contractors' progress payments, claims, and witness inspection, testing, and commissioning sessions to ensure compliance with designs and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise site works to ensure adherence to regulations and client expectations
  • Conduct quality inspections and quality control of materials
  • Maintain and update site records on progress of work, housekeeping, and prepare reports
  • Verify contractors' progress payments and claims
  • Witness inspection, testing, and commissioning sessions

Requirements:

  • Min Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in supervision of residential buildings
  • Resident Technical Officer Certificate accredited by IES/ACES
  • Conversant in statutory code and requirements
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills essential
