Job Description:

The Regional Chocolate Supply Planning Manager oversees regional chocolate supply planning activities across different horizons. This includes tactical supply planning, interactions with Global chocolate supply planning, operational planning, and factory interactions.

This position collaborates with the Regional Supply Chain team and Operations organization to evaluate demand-supply balancing scenarios for S&OP and S&OE processes.

The main objective is to provide a best-in-class supply plan that optimizes service to customers, minimizes inventory, and reduces total delivered cost.

About You
  • You should have 10-15 years of experience in senior Supply Chain and/or Operations management in a manufacturing environment.
  • A Bachelor or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar field is required.
  • APIC CPIM certification is preferred.
  • You must be able to lead and manage change in a complex environment.
  • You need to have a strong understanding of the end-to-end supply chain process, from execution to S&OP.
  • Experience in supply chain improvement processes is necessary.
  • You should have good analytical skills.
  • A process-oriented approach is essential.
  • You must have strong managerial skills and ability to manage change.
  • You should be able to build diverse and inclusive teams.
  • You should have a passion for business growth.

  • You will have the opportunity to work on monthly Chocolate Tactical Plan and S&OP preparation, overseeing supply plan creation that meets forecast while optimizing shift regimes, inventories, and backup supply costs.
  • You will also have the responsibility of Operational Chocolate Planning and S&OE preparation, managing operational planning organization for liquid and solid supplies, and ensuring optimal supply plans are built for sales order confirmation.
  • You will collaborate with plant management leadership to hold sites responsible for plan execution, providing support and training to implement schedules when needed.
  • You will oversee raw material and packaging planning for the region, aligning with cocoa planning teams on cocoa requirements for both S&OE and S&OP horizons.
  • You will define and manage finished good inventory strategy for the region, calculating and aligning stock policies, safety stocks, replenishment parameters, and distribution strategies.
  • You will develop and manage business continuity plans for the region, owning production transfer process, and collaborating with R&D, QA, Operations, Engineering, and Sales for alternative manufacturing options.
  • You will manage high-profile new customer or new product introductions from a supply planning perspective, supporting implementation of an optimal manufacturing footprint, and aligning with Global chocolate supply planning on MTP plan and investment requirements.
  • You will implement best practices and tools developed with Global chocolate supply planning and COE organization.
  • You will ensure supply planning teams are properly staffed and trained, processes are documented.
  • Travel requirements: Up to 25% of the time.
