Job Summary:

Ultra Clean Asia Pacific is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Singapore. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for implementing quality control measures to prevent defects and errors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and create First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) for suppliers, UCT-Internal, and customers.
  • Review and create Process Of Record (POR) documentation.
  • Prioritize POR/FAIR deliverables based on dynamic delivery schedules.
  • Interact with Sales, Operations, Quality, Engineering, Suppliers, and Customers to obtain necessary data/documentation required to complete FAIR/POR packages.
  • Submit FAIR/POR through customer portals and track status.
  • Provide FAIR and POR status to management on a regular basis.
  • Perform research on data related to FAIR and POR activities (Customer Specifications, Industry Standards, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical part/assembly prints (expert level), work orders, certificates of inspection, bills of materials, customer specifications/standards, and industry standards.
  • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T-ASME).
  • Experience with manufacturing processes, inspection methods, and tools.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience working in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment.
  • Experience in multi-tasking with various projects.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Experience to ISO 9001 preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Technical certification on a similar discipline (Mechanical Quality, Engineering Services, etc.).
  • Mechanical inspection/engineering/manufacturing background a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Engineering Services, Operations, Quality, or a similar discipline.
  • Experience in quality and manufacturing systems.
  • Inspection Xpert software experience a plus.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp.
  • Ability to stand for sustained periods of time.
  • Ability to exert up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 15 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Ability to move arms, hands, and fingers.
  • Required to have visual acuity to perform assigned tasks.
