Job Title: Healthcare Innovation Catalyst

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Healthcare Innovation Catalyst. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to drive innovation and transformation in the healthcare sector.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community engagement, research, or a related field, with at least five years of experience in leading teams and operating in a matrix reporting environment.

The successful candidate will be a critical thinker with excellent communication skills, able to lead and influence behaviours to achieve measurable outcomes.

The role requires a high degree of autonomy, with minimal supervision, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To develop and execute an innovation roadmap / framework with Directors of CHA, CAPE, and CANS in workforce transformation.
  • To promote a culture of innovation by creating thought leadership opportunities and focused partnerships.
  • To catalyse value-based outcomes and exchange of knowledge at professional co-learning platforms.
  • To lead the development and curation of community enabling and patient education programmes.
  • To provide a conducive environment for healthcare professionals and social care professionals to co-learn and co-design new healthcare innovations.
  • To leverage professional expertise and adopt appropriate research tools and health behavioural research methodologies.
  • To identify and leverage potential funding programmes and partners as seed funding for implementation of pilot health literacy programmes.
  • To lead and implement large-scale community and professional networking events and festivals.

Requirements:

  • Degree in business, communications, social sciences, behavioral science, psychology, social anthropology or a related field.
  • At least five years of community engagement and/or research experience, preferably in the healthcare and/or social service sector.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
