Job Overview

A Building Services Manager with Mechanical expertise is required to lead planning and execution of fit-outs, reinstatements, AEI, and reconfigurations in retail property/shopping mall projects.

  • Project development and implementation require feasibility studies and tender documents prepared for optimal outcomes.
  • The role involves liaising with tenants, consultants, and landlords to align on project scopes ensuring compliance with building codes and authority processes.
  • Statutory submissions, permits, and budgets must be managed while driving sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives forward.
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders on long-term asset plans and proposing space optimisation strategies is also key.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Building, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field is essential for success in this role.
  • 5 years of experience in Singapore retail property/shopping mall projects is required, with strong knowledge of building codes, authority processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven success managing large AEI and tenant coordination works is necessary, along with technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and security systems.
