Retail Leasing Manager

About the Role:

This key managerial position focuses on overseeing leasing activities across a portfolio of retail properties. The ideal candidate will possess experience and a proven track record in driving occupancy, retention, and rental income.

The Retail Leasing Manager will be responsible for managing key tenant relationships and collaborating with other departments to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team in executing leasing strategies
  • Identify and prospect for potential tenants through market research and outreach
  • Negotiate lease terms for new leases and renewals
  • Finalise lease agreements and other leasing-related documentation
  • Conduct competitive market research and analysis to understand current trends in the real estate industry
  • Develop leasing strategies and recommendations based on market insights to attract and retain tenants
  • Liaise with tenants and building occupants on leasing and tenancy related matters
  • Review and recommend position and tenancy mix of new and existing properties
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Real Estate, Business, or any other relevant discipline
  • 3+ years experience in retail leasing
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • Organised and detail-oriented
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial real estate market trends and leasing practices
