Transition Planning Specialist

Drive the transition of an existing manufacturing site to a new facility, leveraging strategic leadership and planning expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead transition planning from strategy through execution.
  • Develop and maintain the transition project plan, tracking milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges in real-time.
  • Set up and validate master data for all manufactured and purchased parts, aligning with PFEP principles and site standards.
  • Manage the evaluation, selection, and deployment of Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) systems.
  • Ensure integration with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and alignment to business requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, and/or master data management in manufacturing.
  • Aerospace, automotive, or high-mix, low-volume manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong expertise in Master Data Management and production planning systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate insights into operational improvements.
Preferred Skills:
  • Lean manufacturing and change management best practices.
  • Professional certifications (APICS CPIM, CSCP, PMP) highly preferred.
