Postdoctoral Researcher PositionWe are seeking a highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Researcher to join our laboratory.
Research Focus: The research project is centered around advancing the understanding of aquaculture genetics and genomics to address critical challenges in the aquaculture industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in aquaculture genetics and genomics, focusing on quantitative trait loci (QTL) mapping and genome-wide association studies (GWAS)
- Design and execute experiments, analyze genomic data, and interpret results
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to ongoing projects
- Prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at scientific conferences
Qualifications:
- PhD in Aquaculture Genetics and Genomics or a closely related field
- Demonstrated expertise in QTL mapping and GWAS
- Proven ability to work independently and manage research projects effectively
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
