Job Overview

The Perm Account Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with AML/KYC standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Onboarding: Validate KYC information in partnership with Relationship Managers, performing due diligence checks and searches.
  • Review and Verification: Review KYC documentation submitted by RMs and assist with Client Acceptance Forms, profiling, checklists, and reports required for account approval.
  • Account Opening and Review Process: Oversee the end-to-end process, engaging with stakeholders such as Compliance and Client Management to ensure timely completion.
  • Escalation and Communication: Escalate red flags or alerts promptly, coordinating with RMs on onboarding and review matters.
  • KYC Screening: Prepare screening lists on new and existing clients, documenting and verifying information obtained from RMs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Respond professionally to stakeholder enquiries, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare management reports to support reviews and strengthen control procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Provide feedback to enhance processes, driving continuous improvement and efficiency to meet KPIs.
  • Communication: Communicate process changes impacting account management to RMs on a need-to-know basis.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
  • Incident Reporting: Report all incidents related to account management in accordance with internal policies.

Requirements:

  • A minimum degree in a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Able to start immediately or within short notice.
