Job Overview

The role of an Executive Human Resources Specialist is to deliver HR operational services in collaboration with business units. This position requires a commitment to continuously improving service delivery and handling complex issues independently.

  • Employee relations issues are addressed, including conducting inquiries and investigations and liaising with line managers to ensure proper closure.

  • Closely working relationships are maintained with HR leaders to ensure that all HR operational transactions comply with established policies and employment acts.

  • Active engagement with various stakeholders such as business leaders, line managers and employees is essential.

  • Good working relationships are built and maintained with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Employee experience is driven and improved by streamlining operational procedures and processes to achieve operational efficiency and higher productivity.

  • Participation in department projects, initiatives and programmes is ensured.

  • Support is provided in the review and implementation of HR policies, procedures and initiatives.

  • Cross-functional work with line managers is conducted to conduct technology planning and explore strategic priorities, helping to determine an effective path forward.

  • Digitalisation projects and ongoing technology initiatives/enhancements are supported.

  • Support is provided in employee engagement and recruitment activities.

  • HR related letters and manpower reports relating to headcount, staff movement and manpower costs are prepared and generated.

  • Existing systems and processes are continuously assessed, proposing enhancements and ideas to enhance efficiency and performance through process and technology enhancements.

Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant discipline with at least 2 years of working experience in Human Resource is required.

  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment is demonstrated.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

  • Good problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills are required.
