Job Title: Book Acquisitions Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Book Acquisitions Specialist. This role will involve managing the procurement of books from publishers and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
• Issue purchase orders to publishers and suppliers
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments and orders
• Negotiate with publishers on a case-by-case basis
• Provide regular status reports to management
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Qualifications and Skills:
• Minimum diploma qualification in a relevant field
• Proficient in operating a PC with good typing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
