Job Overview:

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth in the freight forwarding industry. You will work closely with clients to understand their shipping needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
2. Source and maintain rates from hauliers, shipping lines, and other service providers to ensure competitive pricing.
3. Coordinate and follow up on shipment arrangements, including air freight, sea freight, and trucking services.
4. Work closely with sales personnel to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
5. Prepare quotations and negotiate rates with shipping lines and other service providers.
6. Check and verify incoming invoices related to shipping services.
7. Collaborate with the finance and business development teams to ensure accurate processing of shipping documents and efficient management of resources.

Requirements:

1. Strong understanding of the freight forwarding industry and its operations.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
