Quality Engineer Job Description

At our company, we are seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality plans to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Facilitate quality improvement by providing technical guidance on QE tools applications.
  • Perform system or process audits to ensure quality systems are in place.
  • Develop and implement product quality plans.
  • Provide quality engineering documentation.
  • Perform quality system, product, and/or process/ESD audits.
  • Support manufacturing in problem diagnosis to assist in problem prevention and resolution.
  • Support warranty and plant return processes and follow up with CAPA.
  • Lead/participate in continuous improvement plans.
  • Develop and/or get effective CA plans for customer on problem prevention/resolution.
  • Communicate new systems for team buyoff to implementation.
  • Meet department quality objectives.
  • Direct interface with suppliers on resolving new material quality issues.
  • Perform special projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics).
  • Knowledge with Quality engineering tools is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge with SMT process is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge with PCBA assembly process is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge with Bulk Capacitor fabrication process is an added advantage.
  • Fresh Grad or with experience.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and relentlessly drive continuous improvement.
