Excellence in Quality Assurance Specialist

The role of a Quality Assurance Specialist is to ensure that products meet the required standards and specifications. This involves evaluating product specifications against customer requirements, setting quality objectives, and implementing quality assurance programs throughout the organization.
The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring product compliance with international and national legislation and standards. They will also define quality measures in conjunction with working staff, understand and execute tests and procedures properly, and investigate product modifications.
Additionally, the Quality Assurance Specialist will direct workers engaged in testing and measuring product, tabulate data relating to product quality and materials, maintain and set up documentation and control procedures, and monitor performance by collecting relevant information and preparing statistical reports.
The Quality Assurance Specialist will also determine relevant quality-associated training requirements and deliver training, as well as collate staff from various disciplines to plan, develop, and agree broad quality procedures.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, the candidate should have working experience in a similar position in the construction industry. They should also possess organizing, planning, and problem-solving skills, as well as good interpersonal and communication skills.
The candidate should be able to work as part of a team and have good statistical and numerical ability. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of quality control and assurance principles are also essential.
