We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to promote quality into every aspect of our biologics safety testing business in Singapore. The successful candidate will support QC operations, data integrity and systems administration to ensure laboratory testing operations meet sound scientific practice, GxP and SOPs.
About the RoleThe Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring quarantine materials are received and released for use as per appropriate quality procedures. Key duties include:
- Supporting QC operations including environmental monitoring and release of critical raw materials.
- Maintaining data integrity and administering systems to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Developing effective working relationships with operational, support services and quality assurance personnel.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree in life sciences or microbiology or higher related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a quality control environment.
- Demonstrable scientific expertise in microbiology-related works.
- Previous experience working in a GLP/GMP regulated environment.
- Strong focus on quality and safety, with strong planning and organisational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with high self-motivation and drive.
