Quality Assurance Specialist

Maintaining quality excellence is a key aspect of this role, ensuring that products and services meet customer expectations.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will contribute to the development of high-quality products and services by implementing disposition, CAPA, customer communication, and resolution. You will also lead investigations on non-conforming materials and product processes.

  • Lead investigations on non-conforming materials and product processes, implementing disposition, CAPA, customer communication, and resolution.
  • Review, monitor, and update work instructions on inspection techniques and equipment.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of inspection, testing, and process support plans.
  • Utilize process and problem-solving tools such as DOE, PFMEA, qualifications/validations, GRR, and Minitab analysis.
  • Maintain and monitor all equipment calibration schedules and records, investigating out-of-tolerance equipment for CAPA actions.
  • Perform calibration and verification on measuring equipment to meet ISO 17025 standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in quality operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, with ISO 13485 and 14971 highly preferred.
  • Inspection method and equipment knowledge.
  • Ability to utilize MRP or ERP software and Statistical Analysis Software.
  • Root cause analysis training, Project Management, and Statistical analysis are beneficial.
  • Statistical tools application: SPC, Six Sigma Tools, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing experience are advantageous.
  • ASQ certified Quality Engineer is preferred.
