Job Title: Head of Rehabilitation Department

In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of professionals in providing exceptional geriatric and neurological physiotherapy/occupational therapy services to patients. Your expertise and leadership skills will be instrumental in shaping the rehabilitation process and driving positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with diverse needs.
  • Participate in patient consultations and provide expert guidance to Therapy Assistants.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient records and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest therapy treatments for a wide range of injuries and conditions.
  • Independently assess and manage patients referred for physiotherapy, implementing tailored treatment plans as needed.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree or diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
  • Be registered with the appropriate professional body (e.g., AHPC).
  • Possess relevant experience in stroke and geriatric rehabilitation, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
