Job Description

The Restructuring and Insolvency Senior / Assistant Manager conducts market research and financial analyses to support business growth and development. This role involves participating in business development and stakeholder interactions, as well as managing the restructuring and insolvency processes for client engagements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse historical financial performance and perform cash flow analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct and review financial analyses, financial statements reviews and assess business performance to inform strategic decisions.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders in complex liquidations and restructurings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Generate ideas and solutions as well as review proposed recommendations for improving liquidity, credit availability, and creditor return to drive business outcomes.
  • Prepare documents for sales of distressed assets and facilitate smooth transitions.
  • Research and provide recommendations on simplifying legal entity structures of clients to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare correspondence to clients with creditors during restructuring or insolvency to maintain strong relationships.
  • Manage projects and guide teams to execute judicial management, receivership and liquidation tasks effectively.
  • Gather relevant data and information to develop proposals and/or schemes of arrangement that meet business objectives.
  • Prepare business proposals and pitch documents to communicate key findings and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Background in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or other relevant field.
  • At least 3 to 5 years' experience in corporate insolvency and restructuring.
  • Member of ISCA preferred but not necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions.
  • Tenacious and willing to learn on the job.
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team player.
