Job Title: Director, Finance

At Hatch Asia, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Finance to lead our finance and accounting function. As a key member of our executive team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's financial direction and ensuring the successful execution of our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all financial activities, including planning, reporting, and analysis, to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Partner with the CEO and senior management to drive business growth and maximize profitability.
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function to provide insights and recommendations for business strategy and decision-making.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure robust financial controls and procedures are in place to safeguard company assets and ensure financial compliance.
Mergers and Acquisitions Strategy:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive M&A strategy to enhance the company's growth and market position.
  • Lead due diligence processes, including financial, operational, legal, and risk assessments of potential acquisition targets.
  • Develop and implement complex financial models to evaluate the financial impact of potential M&A transactions.
  • Lead negotiations with potential acquisition targets to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. CPA, MBA, or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance with a significant focus on M&A or corporate development.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders.
