Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Blackpanda, a leading local cyber incident response firm in Asia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for designing and pitching the right investment story to the market, as well as managing investor relations.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy to support the company's growth and expansion.
  • Lead the deal-making process and negotiate investment terms, conditions, and agreements with investors.
  • Own and manage the financial model, including scenario modeling and data analysis.
  • Monitor and compile an intelligence library on financing activity trends and strategic initiatives of competitors in the cybersecurity and insurtech space.
  • Identify and recommend merger and acquisition opportunities that align with the company's long-term strategic direction.
Requirements:
  • Principal or Executive Director level career experience in venture capital or investment banking, with a strong track record of deal-making and financial modeling.
  • Experience working with cybersecurity firms, particularly digital forensics incident response, cyber insurtech MGAs, or similar SaaS business models.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to pitch the company's investment story to investors and stakeholders.
  • Technical accounting knowledge and experience with financial modeling, including scenario analysis and data visualization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
