  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to the school's leadership and Board of Governors, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks that could impact the school's operations or financial stability.
  • Audit and Compliance: Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic Financial Projects: Lead or participate in strategic financial projects, such as capital investments and cost optimization efforts.
  • Financial Literacy: Promote financial literacy among stakeholders, fostering a culture of sound financial practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or CMA is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in an educational institution or similar non-profit setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Singaporean financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Ability to multi-task with a keen eye for details.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently, handle confidential information with discretion.
  • A team player with a positive outlook.
  • Demonstrate high standard of professional integrity and ethics.
  • Resilient and seek to achieve excellence in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
