Senior Vice President, Total Portfolio Risk Management

GIC Private Limited is a leading global long-term investor, and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Vice President, Total Portfolio Risk Management to join our Risk & Performance Management Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing independent and objective views of investment risk and performance drivers of the GIC Portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with senior leadership within the department and with the Head of Risk.
- Lead the strategic analytical buildout related to recently implemented multi-asset class enterprise risk systems.
- Coordinate between top-down and bottom-up investment risk manager and analyst teams to prioritize and develop new methodologies and risk analytics.
- Research and recommend modeling improvements to improve the risk measurement of exposures.
- Contribute to the business strategy of the department and broader investment risk function.
- Develop and maintain the company's risk management framework and risk governance committees.
- Stay up-to-date with the investment risk technology landscape and data/system practices employed by peer funds and commercial asset managers.
- Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Economics, Financial Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in a quantitative or analytical role across multiple asset classes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain analytical or quantitative concepts in a practical and high-impact manner.
- Ability to influence senior management and peers, with a comfortable speaking up and providing counterbalance while maintaining collaboration.
