Product Management Executive

About This Role

This role involves product and program management for the Asia Pacific region, driving delivery of new features, functionalities, payment channels, and options in collaboration with internal and partner teams to establish Mastercard Payment Gateway Services (MPGS) as the preferred platform for acceptance.

In collaboration with the Gateway Commercialization team, Customer Solution Centers, Global Product, Operations, Delivery, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and other partners, this role will drive product and program management for MPGS in Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a strong understanding of market strategy, industry trends, and customer needs in the gateway and acceptance landscape.
  • Assist in the product pipeline development for MPGS in Asia Pacific—identify opportunities in collaboration with financial institution account teams, market development teams, and Customer Solution Centers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop use cases / user stories, identifying and documenting business and technical requirements to inform development needs.
  • Oversee the full product management lifecycle, including identifying opportunities, positioning, roadmap planning, intake coordination, liaising with Global teams for feature development, technical onboarding, and solution support.
  • Shape market value propositions based on customer insights and research; develop go-to-market strategies that differentiate Mastercard in the acceptance space.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in payments in APAC within e-commerce, or acceptance services industry—ideally within a large PSP, acquirer, or similar organization.
  • Strong product management knowledge, with experience launching products and propositions in multiple markets.
  • Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with financial data and performance metrics.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility with key stakeholders across multiple levels.
