Sales Professional

The Sales Executive (Room Sales) will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling hotel room accommodations to corporate clients and individual guests. This role requires a dynamic and results-driven individual who can develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, identify and pursue new business opportunities, and ensure that the hotel's revenue targets are met.
Key Accountabilities- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive revenue growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet revenue targets
- Conduct site inspections and negotiations to secure new business leads
- Develop new business opportunities through market research and analysis
- Set and track sales goals and performance metrics
- Handle contracts, agreements, and other documentation related to sales
- Attend to guest enquiries promptly, in line with The Westin Brand standards
- Work closely with the hotel's operations team to ensure seamless execution of guest experiences
- Promote awareness of The Westin Singapore's brand image internally and externally
- Process requests for redeeming Marriott Bonvoy points
- Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail
- Enter Marriott Bonvoy information into appropriate software when taking guest reservations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and other potential business sources
- Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to management
- Coordinate with the reservations and revenue department to manage availability and special requests
The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation, market research, and sales skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A strong understanding of the hospitality industry and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service are essential for success in this role.
