Cloud Integration Specialist Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to design, develop and implement integration solutions for applications migrating to cloud platforms.

  • Our ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud platform technologies such as AWS, proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, experience in working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and knowledge of data warehousing and data management concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills are required for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop and implement integration solutions for applications migrating to cloud platforms.
  2. Develop extract, transform, load (ETL) processes to extract data from various sources, transform it as per business requirements, and load it into a data warehouse or other data storage systems.
  3. Integrate data from multiple heterogeneous sources, ensuring it is transformed and loaded correctly into the target system while maintaining data quality and integrity.
  4. Write complex SQL queries using transformation logic to clean, aggregate and transform data according to business requirements.
  5. Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability and reliability.
  6. Implement data validation rules and perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, loading failures, and performance bottlenecks in the ETL process.
  8. Document ETL workflows, processes, and logic, preparing reports as needed.
  9. Prepare detailed migration plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement effective integration strategies.
  11. Work closely with the migration team to execute the migration of applications to cloud platforms.
  12. Conduct thorough testing to ensure functionality, performance, and data accuracy.
