About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Trade Mark Examiner to join our team. As a Trade Mark Examiner, you will play a vital role in reviewing trade mark applications to ensure they meet legal requirements for registration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine trade mark applications to determine if they distinctly identify the trade origin of the relevant goods/services applied for.
  • Conduct searches for conflicting trade marks on the national trade mark register.
  • Review descriptions of goods/services against international standards for classifying such goods/services.
Requirements
  • University degree from any background.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound research, analytical, comprehension, and decision-making skills.
  • Detailed and customer-oriented approach.
  • Interest in how businesses brand, market, and identify themselves.
  • Ability to work as a team player and individual contributor responsible for output targets and deadlines.
  • Able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Self-motivated and driven to excel with enthusiasm for new challenges and opportunities.
  • Commitment to professional and personal self-development.
