Intellectual property (IP) plays a vital role in the growth of innovative enterprises.

At IPOS, we leverage our expertise to help businesses protect and grow their intangible assets, including IP, from Singapore, through Singapore.

We catalyse ideas into assets by providing support for trade mark registration and examination.

As a trade mark examiner, you will work with colleagues to review applications and ensure they meet legal requirements.

You may also be involved in formulating and implementing national policies related to trade mark registration, contributing to Singapore's status as a global hub for intellectual assets and IP.

Key responsibilities include examining trade mark applications, conducting searches for conflicting marks, and reviewing descriptions of goods/services.

Trade mark examiners must communicate with applicants or their representatives on examination outcomes and provide assistance to members of the public with trade mark-related queries.

Administrative roles and supervision responsibilities are also expected.

With seniority and expertise, your professional role will expand to include supervision, mentoring, and coaching responsibilities.
