Freight Executive Role

This position plays a pivotal role in the successful movement of air freight shipments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships, coordinating with team members and carriers to meet delivery deadlines, and resolving customer complaints in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as primary contact for customers regarding shipping inquiries, bookings, and tracking updates.
  • Collaborate with team members, carriers, and vendors to facilitate timely cargo movements.
  • Efficiently resolve customer complaints to enhance their experience.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including invoices and customs forms.
  • Monitor shipments and notify customers of any changes or updates.
  • Provide pricing and quote support for shipping services.
  • Maintain accurate customer records within the system.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant shipping laws, customs regulations, and company guidelines.
  • Support the sales team by addressing customer inquiries and providing assistance.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date knowledge of shipping procedures, staying informed about industry developments, and contributing to process improvements.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in air freight management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in shipping documentation and customs procedures.
