About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. They will also propose seasonal ingredients, dishes, and culinary trends to enhance our menu offerings.
This role requires strong inventory management skills, with the ability to place orders and control food costs effectively. Our ideal candidate will ensure adherence to high standards of cleanliness, tidiness, food safety, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities- Dish Preparation: Prepare authentic Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
- Culinary Trends: Propose seasonal ingredients, dishes, and culinary trends to improve on menu offerings.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory, place orders, and control food costs effectively.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure adherence to high standards of cleanliness, tidiness, food safety, and hygiene.
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Indian Cook. You should possess a passion for Indian cuisine and expertise in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cooking.
Familiarity with kitchen management software and inventory systems is essential. Additionally, you should have in-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards.
We require our staff to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required in the restaurant industry.
