Wellness Operations Coordinator

The Wellness Operations Coordinator is a crucial role in overseeing the fitness and wellness operations of the hotel. This individual will be responsible for ensuring guests receive exceptional health and wellness services, while also providing expert guidance and support to guests participating in the RunWestin program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations of the fitness center and spa facilities, including equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement wellness programs, fitness classes, and personalized training sessions for guests.
  • Provide advice to guests on the correct method of exercising with fitness equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with the hotel's standards, addressing guest inquiries and wellness needs promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct RunWestin activities, including offering personalized WestinWORKOUT route recommendations, organizing and leading running events or group runs, and collaborating with local running groups and wellness partners.
  • Be actively involved in all brand initiatives in the fitness and wellness space.
  • Promote, monitor, order, and maintain inventory of spa and fitness supplies and equipment.
  • Handle daily operations and enquiries at the spa reception.
  • Attend to appointment bookings via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Provide information on spa services, treatments, and pricing.
  • Handle check-ins and check-outs at the spa reception, process payments, and issue receipts.
  • Maintain an organized and clean reception area.
  • Coordinate with therapists and spa associates to ensure smooth scheduling and guest flow.
  • Resolve minor issues or escalate as required.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards within the fitness and wellness areas.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote wellness initiatives and RunWestin offerings to guests and associates.
  • Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility intended for the safety and welfare of guests and members.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of cups and water in wellness areas.
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
  • Assist in preparing daily reports.
