Fitness and Wellness Professional

Job Description:

The Fitness and Wellness Specialist oversees the hotel's fitness and wellness operations, ensuring exceptional health and wellness services for guests. This role also acts as a RunWestin Concierge, providing personalized guidance and support to guests participating in the RunWestin program.

This position requires strong leadership skills to supervise daily operations of the fitness center and spa facilities. The Fitness and Wellness Specialist will develop and implement wellness programs, fitness classes, and personalized training sessions for guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations of the fitness center and spa facilities.
  • Develop and implement wellness programs, fitness classes, and personalized training sessions.
  • Provide expert advice to guests on exercise methods and fitness equipment usage.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address guest inquiries and wellness needs promptly and professionally.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Conduct RunWestin by offering personalized WestinWORKOUT Route recommendations.
  • Organize and lead running events or group runs for guests.
  • Collaborate with local running groups and wellness partners to enhance guest experience.
  • Act as a wellness ambassador for the property.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma in Fitness or equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: 2-years of related work experience.
  • License or Certification: CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and Fitness Equipment Certification.
