Project Manager - Oil and Gas Industry

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee the management of various oil and gas projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project control processes to effectively manage project scope, schedule, cost, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with project teams to establish project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Establish project baselines for scope, schedule, and budget, and regularly monitor and report on project performance against these baselines.
  • Identify potential risks, issues, and deviations from project plans, and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Monitor project expenditures and track project costs to ensure adherence to budget constraints and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including critical path analysis, resource allocation, and milestone tracking, to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Prepare regular project status reports and progress updates for project stakeholders, including management, clients, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certification is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in project control, project management, or related roles in the oil and gas industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, techniques, and tools, including project scheduling, cost control, risk management, and change management.
  • Familiarity with oil and gas industry practices, including safety standards, environmental regulations, and permitting requirements.
