Senior Oil and Gas Project Control Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Project Control Specialist to oversee and manage project control activities for various oil and gas projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and analyze complex project data and performance metrics.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project control, project management, or related roles in the oil and gas industry, with specific experience in upstream, midstream, or downstream projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing project control processes, procedures, and systems to effectively manage project scope, schedule, cost, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop Project Controls: Create and implement project control processes, procedures, and systems to ensure effective project execution.
- Coordinate Project Activities: Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to establish project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Monitor Project Performance: Regularly track and report on project performance against established baselines, identifying potential risks, issues, and deviations from project plans.
- Manage Project Costs: Monitor project expenditures, track project costs, and analyze cost variances to ensure adherence to budget constraints and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Prepare Project Reports: Develop and maintain project schedules, including critical path analysis, resource allocation, and milestone tracking, to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in project control, project management, or related roles in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, techniques, and tools, including project scheduling, cost control, risk management, and change management.
- Familiarity with oil and gas industry practices, processes, and regulations, including safety standards, environmental regulations, and permitting requirements.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools.
