Job Title: Principal Energy Systems Specialist

Job Description:

The role requires a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to lead energy sector projects. Key responsibilities include performing front-end engineering design, basic process design for power plants, centralized utility facilities, and water systems.

The ideal candidate will develop key engineering deliverables, including P&IDs, heat and mass balance, process flow diagrams, operating/control philosophies, overall supply schemes, layouts, equipment specifications, LCOE, etc.

Additionally, the Senior Engineer will lead internal engineering best practices and procedures to ensure high-quality deliverables for project support.

The role involves overseeing and coordinating process design and inter-discipline reviews with a focus on safety, quality, performance, reliability, and operational flexibility, while optimizing project and lifecycle costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in engineering and project management within the energy sector.
  • Experience in Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) engineering is required.
  • Proficiency in multiple energy resource simulation and optimization tools is advantageous.
