Energy Project Manager

Job Overview

This is a seasoned project management opportunity to lead early-stage energy projects internationally.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and assess new energy project opportunities in target markets.
  • Lead commercial due diligence (grid interconnection, permits, land acquisition, environmental assessments).
  • Develop financial and risk models with internal teams to evaluate project economics.
  • Support procurement processes and prepare competitive proposals.
  • Negotiate key contracts.
  • Engage with stakeholders to secure financing and support due diligence.
  • Ensure projects are de-risked and positioned for successful execution at financial close.
  • Liaise with regulators and customers during origination and closing phases.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in renewable energy project development, with at least 3 years in utility-scale energy storage.
  • Strong knowledge of international permits, interconnection, and regulatory approval processes.
  • Proven track record in achieving financial close of energy infrastructure projects.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, or energy systems; MBA or finance background preferred.
