Purchasing and Inventory Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Purchasing and Inventory Specialist. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, processing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor stock levels and anticipate future needs
• Coordinate with the warehouse or inventory team to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and technologies
• Assist in developing and monitoring departmental budgets
• Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, including expenditures, savings, and supplier performance

Requirements:

• Ability to accurately process and maintain detailed records and documents
• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing work effectively
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Proficient in negotiating favorable terms, conditions, and prices with suppliers
• Experience with procurement software and systems to manage purchase orders, track inventory, and generate reports
• Familiarity with procurement policies, procedures, and industry standards
