Job Title: Research Professional

We invite applications for a Research Professional to join our interdisciplinary program at the Global Center for Asian Women's Health, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

The research team aims to foster scholars' professional development by working closely with national and international experts in multi-disciplinary areas, such as nutrition, reproductive health, maternal and child health, endocrinology, behaviour intervention, healthy longevity and aging, biostatistics and epidemiology.

Appointments will be made on a contract basis initially.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collect and verify medical data accurately and completely.
  2. Manage schedules and coordinate projects efficiently to ensure incident-free project execution without significant delays.
  3. Develop effective coordination strategies to manage project requirements.
  4. Support the Director in managing her calendar and meetings to ensure smooth workflow.
  5. Assist with the Director's participation in conferences/seminars and workshops.
  6. Conduct independent research and develop manuscripts related to Global Women's Health Centre embedded research interest.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree preferably in public health, medicine, or biology.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Investigative nature and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, multitasking ability, and self-motivation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strict integrity standards.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Tact, discretion, and diplomacy to work with diverse groups.
  • Well-organized with good monitoring and follow-up skills under tight deadlines.
  • Resourceful in fast-changing environments.
  • Strong time-management and organization skills.
