Product Development Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically experienced Product Development Manager to lead the development of autonomous mobile robotic (AMR) systems for healthcare environments.

  • Develop and maintain product/system and software requirement specifications in line with clinical, operational, and regulatory needs.
  • Define and oversee system architecture, collaborating with hardware, software, and safety teams for high-availability, modular, and fault-tolerant designs.
  • Conduct risk assessments, hazard analysis, FMEA, and maintain safety concepts compliant with ISO standards.
  • Develop and execute test plans covering unit, integration, validation, and field testing, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's/Master's in Robotics, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD a plus).
  • 7+ years in robotic product development, with 3+ years in mobile/AMR systems for healthcare or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO or similar safety standards.
  • Proficiency in requirements management tools, CAD, and simulation environments.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with hospital operations and delivery workflows.
  • Experience with AGVs/AMRs, SLAM, LiDAR, vision systems, and autonomous navigation.
