Product Development Specialist

We are seeking a motivated Product Development Specialist to take ownership of assigned products from concept to end-of-life. This role bridges Research and Development, manufacturing, and supply chain operations, ensuring smooth product introduction, continuous improvement, and lifecycle management.
About the RoleThis specialist will be responsible for managing assigned products from design to end-of-life, preparing new product introduction schedules and ensuring timely ramp-up to mass production.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage assigned products from concept to end-of-life, preparing NPI schedules and ensuring timely ramp-up to mass production.
- Oversee product transfer from design to NPI and production across multiple sites, driving continuous improvement in cost, processes, and performance.
- Liaise with Design Teams, Product Managers, Supply Chain Management, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, and Operations teams, conducting production release reviews and ensuring documentation and approvals are complete.
- Collaborate with suppliers and purchasing teams for component readiness, collect DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and PFMEA data from pilot builds to feedback to design, and ensure technical documentation is complete and up-to-date in databases.
- Maintain SuperBOMs in SAP with standard part numbers, work with Group Material Master team to ensure data accuracy, and lead ECN meetings with stakeholders to manage product changes according to procedure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (Diploma holders with relevant experience welcome).
- 3-5 years of experience in product development or NPI preferred (fresh graduates considered).
- Experience in product transfer within the electronics industry is a strong plus.
- Strong multitasking, analytical, and computer skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently between locations.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
